Bridge. 1830, by Thomas Stanton. Grey sandstone ashlar. Single segmental arch with stepped extrados. Flat string course with chamfered top, and parapet curving out at ends, with chamfered coping and octagonal end piers with pyramidal caps. The builder was George E. Hamilton, Civil Engineer, of Wolverhampton. The bridge carries the B 5026 across the River Tern, which at this point forms the boundary between Shropshire and Staffordshire.
