Cottage, one of a pair. Possibly C15 origins. Rubble, with Ham stone dressing; thatched roof; brick and chimnney
stack, Single storey with attic, 3 bays. Boarded entrance door in centre with heavy frame and exposed timber lintel,
to either side 4-light hollow chamfered mullioned windows with rectangular leaded panes set under labels; above a
3-light ovolo moulded casement with square leaded panes to bay-1, and C19 4-light casement with horizontal glazing bars
to bay-3, both set into thatch, semi-circular 2 meters high projected, possibly over, right of bay 3. Interior not
seen, but three jointed cruck trusses with long tenons and windbracing are reported, also I smoke-blackened wattle and
daub partition in roof. Adjoining on East side Orchard Cottage (q.v.) with no obvious division externally. (VAG Report,
