Formerly 4 separate buildings. Northernmost in North Street already statutorily
listed. This is c.1830, red brick, stone dressings, low slate roof behind parapet.
Three storeys. Three windows. First floor tripartite sashes with rubbed brick
lintels, and second floor single sashes in blank segmental arcading. Rich oval
pattern iron panels overwindows in parapet. Late C19 and modern shop front.
Adjoining on south (formerly No 2), early C19 yellow stock brick with stone
dressings. Three storeys. Arcaded ground floor. Two first floor sashes with
roll-moulded architrave, 2 plain surround second floor sashes. Inset rounded corner
to Bridge Street with painted plaster first floor. Adjoining on east (formerly No 1
Bridge Street) early C19, yellow stock brick, 4 storey. Single first and second floor
sashes. Adjoining on east (formerly No 3 Bridge Street), C19 plastered on earlier
timber frame with slate mansard roof. Jettied first floor. Modern shop front. Whole
group has modern shop interior.
