- II*
C16 late manor house, largely brick construction, tiled roof. Altered in
Cl7, reconditioned in C19. Two storeys and attics, L-shaped with the main
block in the south. The south front has 2:1:2 range of C19 wood bar and
transom windows. The south and west elevations both have three curvilinear
gables (replacing earlier crow stepped ones). Three-light attic windows
with square moulded brick labels. The chimney stacks are largely rebuilt,
but some retain parts of octagonal shafts. The main staircase dates from
late Cl7, and there is good C16 and Cl7 interior panelling.
