Farmhouse, now house. Circa 1600 with mid-C17 addition; restored in
late C20. Timber framed with lath and plaster infill on brick and
concrete plinth, rear wing partly rebuilt in C19 brick; plain tile
roof. L-plan; 2 framed bays with wing of 2 framed bays at rear. 2
storeys; Framing: square panels (4 from sole-plate to wall-plate)
with long straight tension braces. Integral brick end stack to left
(with top rebuilt in late C20)and external brick end stack to rear wing.
3-window front; C20 two- and 3-light wooden casements; C20 lean-to
timber framed porch to left with boarded door. Gable ends have exposed
collar and tie-beam trusses with queen-struts and V-struts, left-hand
end wall rebuilt in late C20. Interior: ground-floor chamfered cross-
beamed ceiling with ogee stops; right-hand ground-floor room has
chamfered joists with run-out stops and triangular-headed doorway;
chamfered posts; large open fireplace with lintel; rear wing has
