House and stables, now offices. C16, altered in C18. Timber
frame roughcast, stucco plinth and low stucco parapet with
moulded wooden cornice. Weatherboarded rear wing at SE. Steep
pitched old red tile roofs. A 2-storeys and attic U-shaped
building fronting the street on the W with 2 rear wings and one
and a half storeys stable block extending N along street. Large
external gable chimney at N end of street range with grouped
shafts now enclosed by stables. Large internal gable stack with
axial base and 2 diagonally set shafts (rebuilt) at E end of NE
wing. Tall early C19 2 storeys SE rear wing with cusped
bargeboard and 2 storeys canted bay window to qarden. Irregular
W front has 6 windows on each floor and has 3 unequal sections.
On left, 4 flush box sash windows with 6/6 panes; short middle
part projects slightly, has a similar sash window and the door.
4-panel half-glazed flush-beaded door in a reeded surround with
corner blocks and ring paterae, and entablature with plain
frieze and moulded flat hood. Short right hand bay has no eaves
parapet and has a flush box sash window with 8/8 panes above a
large leaded casement window. The stables to the N have 2 roof
heights and a gabled dormer and a 3-light transomed window below.
Higher N part has an external gable chimney and a high
rectangular window with arched frame.
