The Black Horse Public House

Range of three connected buildings. Southern section C18 timber framed
and rendered, plain tile roof. Well proportioned two storey structure with
attics. Central doorway with tiled porch flanked by double hung sash windows,
upper three window range of double hung sashes, axial chimney stack with
metal weathervane surmounted by black horse. Centre section, probably C17,
timber framed and rendered with a slate roof. Two storeys but lower in
height than the main range, casement windows. Northern section, brickwork
rendered, tiled roof, modern conversion of earlier outbuilding.
