II
House, formerly farmhouse. Late medieval hall house with 2-
storey cross wings each end. Stack and floor inserted in mid
C17. Refaced mid C19 in flint and red brick, the E cross gable
retained. Plain tile roof. 2 storeys. 3 windows. 1 early C19
sash,the rest late C19 casements. C20 gabled porch with roundel
above. Late C17 external stack on E end. Wide hall has heavy
exposed truss with double hollow chamfer. Deep C17 cellar on W
side of hall. Cross wings appear to be C16 and have exposed
clasped purlin roofs with curved wind braces.
