II
Public house. Later C17 timber frame. C17 and C19 red brick
casing. Plain tile roofs. 2 storeys. Early range is gable end
in centre. Clasped purlin roof exposed in roughcast front gable.
The front has on left a C17-18 2-storey wing with double-pile
roof. 1 sash window to front of this part; centre block with a
C19 door and segmental-headed sash window. This block has, at
the rear, a lower early C19 block with 2 glazing bar casements.
At the join the front block has an external stack. Interior
shows roll-moulded floor beams and joists to the centre bay.
