House. C16 open hall house, later inserted floor and central
chimney, brick faced and gabled C19 W extension, altered in mid
C20 after fire. Timber frame cased in painted brickwork. Steep
old red tile roof, half hip and gablet at E. One and a half
storeys, 3-cell central-chimney plan house facing S. Gabled
brick front with wide segmental arch on left from former shop -
now infilled with battended entrance door flanked by leaded
lights under a flat hood on brackets. 2 windows to right. 3-
light leaded casements. 2 gabled dormers at eaves with 2-light
leaded casements. Red brick central chimney (rebuilt). Interior
has exposed timbers and dentilled cornice to chimneypiece.
