House. Late C16 or early C17, taller W parlour wing early C18.
Timber frame on stuccoed plinth, plastered upper part over red
brick nogging. E gable has remains of old fan pargetting. Steep
thatched roofs. A long single-storey range facing S with rooms
formed in roof. 3-cells older part with C18 central brick
chimney inserted a third from E in older chimney-bay. 3 rear-
wall chimneys. Front has 3 windows to older part with door into W
bay, and 2 eyebrow dormer windows. Small-paned flush casement
windows and battened door. 2-storeys W part, 2 windows wide,
with door and window in W end. Side-purlin roof to older part,
with cut through tie beams and arch-brace to tie beam W of stack.
