House, now 2 cottages. A probably C16 timber building, encased in stone
C17 and refenestrated in early C19. Coursed rubble, red tile roof.
I storey with attics, 4 bays, rear outshut. Plinth. Half-glazed C20 door
bay 3; window to left has a double chamfer to left jamb and an 8-pane side-
sliding sash. Similar window to right of door has a wooden lintel. C20
door bay 2 with two C20 windows to left. 2 small gabled dormers. Large
central ridge stack, smaller end stacks. Rear: a 2-light recessed chamfered
mullion window under eaves, right; 2 small C19 openings to bay 1; 2 dormers.
Left return: a blocked 2-light recessed chamfered mullion window.
Interior: not inspected in detail at resurvey. Spine beam to bay 1; 2 posts
in rear wall suggest a rear-aisled building. Reported to contain crucks.
