Mediaeval (first mentioned in 1309), but much rebuilt, and twice widened on upstream
side. Ashlar. Seven arches to stream, some pointed, some semi-circular. Causeway at
south end. Parapet. Inscription on west side reads "FLOOD LEVEL JANUARY 29TH 1883".
Stone gutters draining roadway and projecting deeply.
