Public House. Later C17 timber frame. Altered early C19. Large
mid-late C20 additions. Original range has stuccoed walls and
steep-pitched machine tile roof. 2 storeys and attics. 2 1st
floor flush sash windows with 10/10 panes. Central ridge chimney
stack with 4 red brick square shafts and projecting upper courses.
S gable end with small attic casement. Pentice roof front
extension. Some original chamfered beams exposed within. Late
C19 wing on rear N, possibly incorporating an early wing.
