Early C18 inn, altered with extension at east end and modern rear additions.
Two storeys. Fenestration 3:1. Old tiled roof, original building with brick
gable stacks. Roughcast walls with painted brick plinth. Architraved windows
with 5-light, iron casements with leaded lights. Architraved doorway to old
part of inn with wooden hood carried on cut brackets; glazed door.
