Farmhouse. 1767. Probably by John Carr for the Earl of Holderness.
Rendered rubblestone, ashlar dressings, Welsh slate roof. 2 storeys, 3 bays
with single-storey C20 extension to right of no special interest. Central
bay breaks forward and is pedimented. To right return of central bay a 4-
panel door with overlight in stone architrave with cornice. Central bay has
full-height round-arched recess, and central tripartite sash with glazing
bars. To left a 4-pane sash, to right a C20 French window in moulded
architrave. First floor: ashlar band, central unequally hung 12-pane sash
with segmental head. To left a 12-pane side-sliding sash, to right an
unequally hung 12-pane sash, similar window to right return of central bay.
Eaves band. Moulded central pediment. Hipped roof. Central ridge stack.
