GV II

House. C17, main range part cased in brick in C18 ('IA/1739') painted on
gable of N crosswing, refronted in brick in mid C19. Timber frame,
roughcast on crosswing, lower walling in red brick changing irregularly
to pale pink brick. Steep pitched tile roofs. An L-plan house facing W
with 2-storeys and attics, and projecting long 2-storeys N crosswing.
Main range has near symmetrical W front, 3 windows wide, with gabled
central porch. 3:2:3 lights casement windows to 1st floor, one gabled
dormer on roofslope with bargeboards. One window to each side of porch.
Ridge top chimney at each end of main range, and large projecting C17
brick chimney on N side of N wing. 3-lights casement window to each
floor and fancy bargeboards to W gable.
