Remains of former churchyard cross. C14, restored C19. Coursed and squared lias and freestone. Medieval socket and
stump of the original shaft raised on a tall C19 plinth, this in turn raised on a further low plinth which may be the
original basement step of the cross, overhanging drip. The stump of the shaft has iron banding and an iron cruciform
finial. (Pooley, Old Crosses of Somerset, 1877).
