Former granary. Early C19. Timber frame dark weatherboarded raised on ground floor of buff Hitch's patent bricks. Steep pyramid roof of old red tiles. A 3-storeys square granary beside the lane with doors at ground floor and 1st floor levels on S side to farmyard. Small 2-light opening window under eaves to top storey. Interior plastered on laths. An unusual tower-like granary. Caleb Hitch of Ware patented his oversized interlocking bricks in 1828 and they were mainly used in the vicinity.
