House, one of virtually identical detached pair. Dated 1820 from deeds. Ashlar, end pilasters, hipped slate roof, 2
off ridge brick stacks on ashlar bases. Austere classical and symmetrical villa. Two storeys, 3 bays, sash windows
with glazing bars, those to ground floor in very slight segmental headed recesses; plain first floor band. Central
door opening, 6-panelled door, top 2 panels glazed as one. Iron tent canopy verandah on C20 circular iron poles;
original decorative member of cast-iron surviving to each end. Garden wall at right angles to right creating division
from grounds of Clifford House (qv); rubble, feather edged coping, low ashlar pier nearest house; wall ramped up to 2
metres high, extending for 30 metres. Building forms an unusual group with No 21 (Clifford House), Bath Road (qv).
