16th century with later alterations. Render on rubble sandstone and cob. Thatched
roof, gables, tall square brick chimney to front, similar stack at rear in brick and
stone. Two storeys. Four wooden mullioned casement windows breaking eaves line,
later windows in earlier frames. Square-headed door opening with plain door, double
wooden doors to left. Later lean-to extensions to both gables. No 17 pantile roof,
wooden casement window, plain door. No 15 corrugated metal roof. Interior retains
a good example of a three-roomed house with cross passage in the traditional West

places is unusual. Plain chamfered ceiling beams and cruck frame roof trusses.
