Miller's house. Early C17. Timber frame on painted brick sill,
roughcast with steep old red tile roof. S end wall, small 2-
storeys S extension and present single-storey rear wing, in
painted C19 brick with steep tile roofs. 2-cell, central-chimney
lobby-entry plan house of 2 storeys and attic facing E.
Symmetrical front with 2 windows to each floor and central door,
each with smooth plaster margins. Flush box sash windows with
moulded surround and 8/8 panes. 4-panel half-glazed door up 3
steps in moulded eared surround with moulded flat hood on
projecting shaped brackets. Large panelled square chimney in
middle serving ground floor and chamber over N part. Exposed
axial beams and square joists. Clasped-purlin roof structure.
