House. C16 former open-hall house, altered c1700 and extended to
N, rear wing c1947. Timber frame roughcast with old red tiled
roof. A long 2-storeys, 4 windows house facing W. 3-light
casement windows and central door in line with large central
chimney. C16 segmental arched, hollow chamfered heavy doorframe
with sunk spandrels and C19 panelled and boardedGothick door.
This door leads into former screens passage of hall extending to
right (S) with 2 storeys bay at S end. 2-storeys part to left of
door extended one bay to N probably when hall floored and stack
inserted c1700.
