House. C17 with mid-C19 and mid-C20 alterations. Timber-framed, painted
brick and rendered infill, brick replacement walling and refacing, plain
tiled roof. Three framed bays aligned north-west/south-east; external
chimneys with tiled offsets and detached stacks at gable ends. Single
storey and attic with dormers. Framing: three panels from sill to wall-
plate; collar and tie-beam trusses with four struts beneath collar and
V-strut in apex (strut replaced by attic light at north-west gable end).
South-west front elevation: windows are all C20 casements. Ground floor
has a 3-light window, two 2-light windows and a rectangular light; central
C20 flat-roofed dormer with 2-light window; main entrance in right bay
has a half-glazed door. Attic lights in gable ends. Interior noted as
having retained much of its framing.
