Farmhouse. C17 and C18. Rubble, stone slate roof. L-plan, wings extend-
ing south (C17) and east (C18), stacks on south gable, and on north wall
at junction of wings. South elevation: one storey and attic, gabled wing
projects at left, with brick shaft at apex; no windows, ledged door under
timber lintel to right; east/west wing, band to ground floor, one storey
with attic lit by 2 raked top dormers, to extreme right granary entrance,
roof hipped, to left of which wide entry to former cider house; left end
of wing has two 6-pane boxed sashes flanking central entry with gabled
canopy on plain wooden posts, 4-panelled door. Interior: chamfered and
stopped beams; stud-and-plank partition between 2 wings. Blocked window
with square label in north wall of north/south wing. (RCHM 1, p 216, no 29).
