A timber-framed and plastered house of early C16 origin but very much altered
in the Cl8 and Cl9. It was refronted in the Cl8 and has C19 alterations. The
west front is plastered, with a parapet and a wood dentilled cornice. 2 storeys.
5 window range double-hung sashes with glazing bars. The ground storey has 2
C19 canted bays and a central covered porch with a cornice and pediment. Roof
tiled, With a Cl7 chimney stack with 3 diagonally set shafts. (RCHM 4).
