II
Large farmhouse. Rebuilt mid C19, incorporating house of early C18
or late C17. Coursed rubble stone with flush long and short
quoins. Cotswold stone slate roof, 3 tall stone stacks also with
flush long and short quoins with 2 or 3 diagonally set flues.
Double range with cross gables. 3 storeys. Garden front to south
has 2 windows, 3-light stone-mullion to left, 2-light to right, all
with hood moulds. Gabled Tudor porch to west with double panelled
door, coped and buttressed gable and saddlestone. Gables on house
without stacks have very small saddlestones.
