Drainage windpump. Mid C19. 3 storey tapering tarred brick tower. Doors
to south and north, the former originally with a segmental arch, the latter
now in a mutilated opening. Openings above doors originally held windows.
Weatherboarded cap survives but not in situ. Cast iron windshaft, brakewheel,
wallower and clasp arm pitwheel. Timber upright shaft. Pitwheel drove external
scoopwheel (now missing). External engine shed with C20 traction engine gearing
and belt pulley.
