House, C17. Banded flint and ashlar with stone slate roof. Paired diagonally
set brick stacks to right gable and to centre. Near symmetrical. 3 storeys
with attics. Central 3 storey projecting porch containing staircase.
Mainly 2 and 3 light stone mullioned windows with returned labels and leaded-
lights. First floor left bay has a large 16-pane sash. Central plank door
with returned label.

Internal features (RCHM): lobby entrance plan with 2 rooms per floor either
side of a central stack; original oak staircase with closed strings, turned
and enriched newel posts, turned balusters and moulded handrails; first floor
has 2 C17 stone fireplace surrounds with chamfered 4-centred heads and
continuous jambs with shaped stops. (RCHM, Dorset, vol. IV, p.39-40, no. 7).
