A timber-framed and plastered house of C17 origin much altered in the C18 and
C19 and renovated in the C20, The south front is faced in red brick and has 3
crowstepped gables. 3 storeys. 3 window range, the ground and 1st storey windows
are paired double-hung sashes with. margin glazing bars, and the 2nd storey windows
are double-hung sashes with vertical glazing bars. All windows have stuccoed flat
arches with keystones. The north front has 3 gables. The windows are partly
double-hung sashes with glazing bars and partly casements, the central gable has
a large semi-circular headed window. Roof Tiled. (RCHM 23).
