C18 red brick house. Moulded brick string course, moulded brick modillion cornice
and parapet. Steep black-glazed pantile roof with gabled ends; 2 storeys and
attic. 2:4:2 bays, centre 4 bays project slightly. Sashes with thick glazing
bars in exposed moulded casing, flat rubbed brick arches, one 1st floor window
blocked. Two doorways, left hand door in heavy moulded doorcase with panelled
frieze and moulded hood on shaped brackets, fielded panel door. Doorway right
of centre with moulded doorcase, rectangular fanlight, moulded hood with panelled
soffit on shaped brackets, fielded panel door. Two square section down pipes
with rainwater heads with cornices and lions rampant. Three flat-roofed dormers
with cornices and sashes with glazing bars.
Left hand end (west) set back with splayed corner, small C18 red brick wing;
fielded panel door with sash with glazing bars above; hipped pantile roof; brick
string course.
Interior: C18 staircase with turned balusters, moulded rail and turned newels;
facing rear a round-headed stair sash with glazing bars. Ground floor room one
wall with fielded panelling, 2 niches on either side of fireplace with fluted
pilasters and round shell heads, one converted to doorway.
