Former farmhouse. Mid C17 with rear extension dated 1709 on gable-end.
Rendered timber frame with pantile roof. Lobby-entrance type plan with
blocked doorway opposite stack to rear. 2 storeys. 4 modern ground floor
pivot windows with glazing bars. 3 C19 first floor casement windows with
glazing bars. East gable-end with one C18 3-light window with metal casement
and some leaded glazing. Modern ground floor window with glazing bars. One
C18 window to rear facade with later glazing bars and former metal casement.
Rear extension with colourwashed brick gable-end. 2 2-light windows with
single metal casements and some leaded glazing. Off-centre axial stack to
main block with interconnecting angled shafts. Modern shallow pitched roofs.
Interior. Original winding stair beside stack with turned balusters. Frame
with surviving tie beams and bridging joists with stepped run-out chamfer
stops.
