Detached cottage. Probably C17. Brick walls, part plastered, thatched roof,
brick end stacks. At right angles to road. One storey and attics. Front wall
buttressed at north end. Timber porch with corrugated iron roof. Ledged door.
Ground floor has 3 casement windows with glazing bars. Attic has 2 ½-dormers
with casements with lead lights. Internally, both main ground floor rooms
have large open fireplaces. Some chamfered ceiling beams. RCHM Monument
