Large red brick building of C18 origin, altered later, particularly on the
west front. It comprises a main block of 2 parts and a wing to the east at
the north end. The south part of the main block is 3 storeys and attics and
the remainder is 3 storeyed. The east wing is 2 storeys and attics. Two:one:
three window range of double-hung sashes with glazing bars. The south part,
of 3 window range, has end pilasters and an open pediment with a lunette window.
There is a central semi-circular arched window on the second storey and a splayed
oriel window with a pediment on the first storey. The north part, of 2 window
range has a corniced parapet and a 2 storeyed splayed central bay of 4 lights,
with a dentilled cornice. There is a Tuscan doorcase with plain columns and
cornice. Roofs tiled, with 2 hipped dormers to the east wing.
