St John the Baptist: Saxon origins but externally mostly mid c15 Perpendicular with c14 Decorated window east of porch; alternating bands of flintwork & ashlar or brick
St John the Baptist: chancel rebuilt c15; window with reticulated tracery at east end of south aisle is Victorian
St John the Baptist: c.1500 west tower funded by Archbishop Morton; three-light bell openings; battlements, corner turrets & crocketed pinnacles; south porch largely rebuilt c19
St John the Baptist: nave with Norman piers; late c12 plain north arcade, more decorative south arcade with scalloped capitals; squint to right of chancel arch
