C17 Lobby Entrance house converted into cottages in the C18 and re-converted
into a single dwelling in the C20. Brick and some rendering with pantiled
roof. 2 storeys. Returned south gable end shows that the house was
originally timber-framed. Continuous C17 brick plinth with C18 brickwork
above. Scattered fenestration of mainly C19 casements. Blocked lobby
entrance on east side of stack. Saw-tooth and dentilled cornice. Original
stack with former stair to its west side. One original fireplace with
cambered lintel, ovolo moulded with barred stops. Roof mainly C18 with
some surviving original tie-beams. Some original floor beams with simple
run-out stops.
