House. C14, mid-C16 and early C20. Timber framed and plastered, roofed with
handmade red plain tiles. Late C14 gabled crosswing to SW, C20 extension to NE,
with one axial stack, and one stack behind ridge. 2 storeys. 4:1 window range,
C20 sashes with glazing bars to first floor. 3 C19 flat-roofed splayed bays
with sashes. 4-panel door in early C19 pedimented doorcase with moulded
architrave, frieze and brackets. C20 carriage-way at NE end. Internally much of
the original framing survives, with late C14 crownpost roof and high-quality
stop-chamfered framing of the mid-C16. C17 and C18 doors. Late C16 staircase
balustrade with flat fretted balusters and square newels with lozenge finials.
C18 corner cupboard with shaped shelves and flat arch.
