Gate piers, wall with railings, and gates. C18. Dwarf brick wall c5 or 6 courses
high to weathered stone capping, and short wall in brick at left-hand end, cast-iron
spear-head railings and matching gates, extending from left end of main facade to
projecting wing at right. Centrally pair of limestone ashlar square gate piers with
moulded bases and caps, carrying steep ogee-shaped heads with acorn finials. These
elements are important to the visual ensemble of the farmhouse (q.v.).
