C17 and C18. C17 timber-frame, plastered, north part with steep gable-ended
pantile roof with C17/18 west wing at right angles, plastered and brick with
tumbled brick gable end, 2 storeys, C19 casements and panelled door. The
south-east wing is a good small C18 house, red brick with steep hipped black
glazed pantile roof with coved eaves, moulded brick string course. Two storeys.
Four bays, sashes in exposed casing, with glazing bars, ground floor windows
have flat rubbed brick arches. French window on right, to left moulded pilaster
doorcase with entablature and traceried rectangular fanlight and moulded
flush panel door.
Interior: good fielded panelled drawing room with cornice. Similarly panelled
hall with painted panel over fireplace depicting "Channonz Hall" which is
situated in Tibenham parish.
