C18 building built on an L shaped plan with a red brick front to the west and
a timber-framed and plastered wing extending to the east at the rear. The
front block and wing have parapets. Two storeys, attics and a sub basement
on the west front. The west front has 5 window range and the east wing has
3 window range, double-hung sashes with glazing bars. Raised bands extend
across the front above the first storey windows and between the storeys. A
late C19 or early C20 glazed porch projects on the centre of the west front
approached by a long flight of stone steps with wrought iron railings. The
east wing has a central doorway with plain Tuscan columns and a modillion cornice.
Roofs tiled, double-pitched on the east wing, with 3 flat headed dormers on
the north front. The east wing is probably the original house to which the
west block was added.
