An C18 front to an earlier timber-framed building probably C17. 2 storeys and
attics. 6 window range, double-hung sashes with glazing bars, in flush cased
frames. At the south end there is a segmental arched carriage entrance with
a keystone and small cornice and a 3-light window above. A central 6-panel
door with glazed upper panels has a good Roman Doric doorcase with fluted pilasters,
triglyph frieze and a segmental pediment. The doorway is approached by stone
steps. Roof tiled, with a wood eaves cornice.
All the listed buildings from No 19 to No 41 on the west side and
No 4 to No 20 on the east side form a group with Bawn Cottage, Bawn Close.
