the description shall be amended to read:'
House. 1866 by Benjamin Bucknell. Built of limestone ashlar with tile
roof and grouped ashlar stacks. Double-depth plan with rear stair hall
and additional rear wings, mostly for services. Asymmetrical Gothic
Revival style. 2 storeys and attics. Garden front of symmetrical 3-
window range has gabled and slightly projecting central bay: stone-
mullioned and transomed windows of 2- above 3-lights to outer bays and
2-light attic window above 4-light and 6-light window to centre. Other
elevations have similar fenestration but are treated asymmetrically
with hipped stair tower, service wings of one and two storeys and date
and name of house carved in relief over chamfered segmental-arched
doorway to inner porch on right. Interior: original features include
panelled doors, moulded architraves, moulded cornicing, carved stone
fireplaces and ribbed ceilings to porch, stairhall and 2 front rooms;
large stairhall with Minton tile floor and open-well stair with
chamfered balusters and quatrefoils to string.

chimney stacks. 2 storeys and attics. Stringcourse above ground floor. Stone
rainwater gutters taken on prominent corbels. 3 ranges of mullion and transom
windows. Central bay projects and is crowned by coped gable with finial and kneelers.
Mullioned window with hoodmould in gable end.
