C18 ashlar on earlier house. Cement-rendered. 2 storeys. Attractive roof of
store slates, waved slightly over bays. Stone stacks. 2 2-storey bays have 3
hung sash windows with glazing bars to both storeys. Door of 6 panels, 2 glass,
at West end under a single sash window, is set in a moulded rectangular frame with
head with 4-centred arch.

No 7, Premises occupied by YMCA Centre and No 9 form a group.

Also forms part of a group with Nos 33 to 38 (consec) St Peter's Street adjoining
on West Side.
