9/37 Tilekiln Farmhouse

GV II

House. Circa 1740, altered in C19. Red brick in Flemish bond, roofed with red
interlocking concrete tiles. Triple range plan facing SW, with internal end
stacks in front range. 2 storeys. 3-window range of C19 sashes with
sidelights, of 4:12:4 lights, except the central first-floor sash of 12 lights,
all with gauged flat arches. Central door with C19 trellised porch. Hipped
roof. Extensive original internal detailing. Side-purlin roof with face-halved
and bladed scarfs in wallplates.
