C17 farm house of red brick and colourwashed bricks. Black pantiled roofs. Two
storeys and attics with rear lean-to staircase wing. Three cell house extended
later towards the west. Facade of 6 bays of C19, casement windows to first floor,
C20 to ground floor. C19 lean-to extension to west. At rear C19 casement windows
to first floor. Casements and sashes to ground floor with segmental brick arches
over. C17 red bricks on eastern gable and rear elevations. Staircase tower, raised
slightly, earlier brick tumbling to verge visible. Eaves of main roof, corbelled,
brick tumbling-in in eaves with gable chimneystacks and off-set axial stack. Wedge
dormers to north, the most eastern with leaded lights. Moulded principal ceiling
beams, and large fireplaces.
