Farmhouse. Circa early C16 hall house with floor and chimneys inserted in C17.
Concrete tile roof with gabled ends. Two storeys. Three window range. Ground
floor centre 6-light chamfered wood mullion window. Rest of windows modern metal
frame casements. Rebuilt brick chimney stacks at gable ends. Later wing to
south-west formerly an outbuilding, rendered stone rubble and with corrugated iron
roof.
Interior: Jointed cruck trusses, said to have some smoke blackening in roof. Plank
and muntin screen at higher end. Framed ceiling inserted in hall with deeply
chamfered beams. Inserted chimney with massive four centred arch chamfered timber
beam. Smaller but similar fireplace at higher end.
