House formerly farmhouse. Early to mid C17 modernised and extended in later C20.
Slatestone rubble walls. Half-hipped thatch roof. 2 stone rubble stacks, one
axial and one at right-hand end.
Plan: 2-room plan, larger room to left has fireplace at left-hand end with
smoking chamber behind it. In front of the room is a 2 storey porch with integral
newel stairs. Late C20 addition built at right-hand end.
Exterior: 2 storeys. Asymmetrical 3-window front of C20 1 and 2-light casements.
Shallow gabled 2 storey porch to right of centre with C20 stable type door and
pigeon holes on the 1st floor. In its right-hand wall is a tiny wooden squint
window. Rectangular stair projection to the left, corbelled out on its left-hand
side with 3 beeboles underneath. C20 single storey addition set back from right-
hand end.
Interior: inaccessible at time of survey but probably contains original features
such as fireplace, ceiling beams and stairs and possibly roof timbers.
