The roofs are tiled and there is a coved plaster eaves cornice on the
west front. 2 modern ground floor shops. Oval date panel on the front
1692. Possible invisible remains of Roman Town Wall incorporated in the
foundations of No 2.
The Scheregate and Nos 1 to 4 (consec) form a group
