House, C17. Colourwashed carstone and some chalk, pantiles. 2 cell cross
passage plan with one bay extension to right. 1½ storeys raised from 1 storey.
Principal facade to road at west: dentil cornice, end external stack to left,
axial stack to chimney bay between bay 2 and extension. Doorway renewed to
right of first cell. 2 2-light casements with glazing bars to ground floor.
2 3-light casements with glazing bars to first floor; 2 blocked openings
to right extension. Right return: 6 paned recessed sash to ground floor;
renewed casement with glazing bars, shaped stone lintel to attic. Rear: former
outshut to rear of 2 main cells now with C20 jettied and gabled first floor
to left, glazed extension to right both of no special interest. Interior:
stair behind chimney bay stack, fire place enclosed; C17 bar stopped central
beam part enclosed to first cell; C18 built-in corner cupboard to cell 2.
