House C15/16 with later additions and alterations. Timber framed and plastered
with some weatherboarding. Red plain tiled roof, ½ hipped to right with lower
range to left. 2 storeys. Mainly 2 range, 3 light windows and one window to
ground floor of recessed left range. Central, hipped red tiled enclosed porch
with glazed door. Nailed board door. Red brick chimney stack and 2 external
chimney stacks to rear. Internally there are 3 brick fireplaces of different
ages, one early C16 with cambered mantel beam, one a straight beam and one a
later, rough hewn beam. There are original doors and moulded and stop chamfered
beams. RCHM 37.
